Matthew P. Kralovec
Matthew began working for Vadim Glozman in 2018 as his law clerk and has been his mentee ever since. He obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois at Chicago John Marshall Law School in 2020, graduating cum laude. Matthew received a full merit scholarship to attend law school and was a Howard T. Markey Distinguished Scholar, an Edith and Phillip Baim Scholar, a member of the Moot Court Honors Council, and on the Dean’s List every semester. He also received awards for obtaining the best grades in numerous classes including, Federal White Collar Criminal Law, Legal Writing, and Illinois Constitutional Law. Matthew received a Bachelor of Science in biology from Loyola University Chicago in 2014, where he also graduated cum laude and was the recipient of the Director’s Scholarship.
While working for Mr. Glozman, Matthew has worked on a wide range of federal and state criminal cases including firearms and narcotics offenses, cybercrimes and CFAA offenses, conspiracies, obstruction of justice offenses, money laundering, mail/wire frauds, kickback schemes, economic espionage and trade secret offenses, assault and batteries, home invasions, kidnappings, and more. He has assisted combating investigations conducted by the FBI, DEA, DHS, ATF, CBP, and state investigatory agencies, among others. Matthew has been intimately involved with preparing for numerous trials and has researched and assisted drafting state and federal appeals, motions to dismiss indictments, motions to suppress statements and evidence, trial motions, sentencing memorandums, and post-conviction and habeas petitions.
Matthew has an immense passion for criminal procedure and constitutional law and will leave no stone unturned in his pursuit to protect the rights of his clients. In the modern era, law enforcement agencies have begun using some of the most technologically advanced investigative methods in history, that can violate your constitutional rights in ways never before imagined. Matthew has combatted these methods and has assisted litigating against the use of cell-site simulators, wiretaps, and forensic searches of digital devices. He has also helped discover and successfully litigate against government hacking and malware that was used in a multination sting operation spanning multiple countries. Matthew understands that it takes dedication to research, creativity, and relentless preparation to combat modern investigations, and prides himself with putting in the work that must be done to be successful.
Before working for Mr. Glozman, Matthew law clerked at multiple personal injury firms on both the defense and plaintiff sides. He has worked on wrongful death cases, complex torts cases, and personal injury cases. He has handled discovery matters, litigation strategies, and expert witnesses. He was closely involved in preparing and presenting numerous jury trials and helped obtained successful results for their clients.
